African Giant Millipede

Herbivores, consuming a variety of vegetables and fruits including leaf lettuce, cucumber (their favorite food), tomatoes, melon, peaches, bananas, etc.

Size:
Adults can grow as large as 30 cm.

Do these Millipedes have thousands of legs?
No, they usually have between 100-400 legs (2 sets of legs per body segment). Each time they molt, they add more segments and therefore more legs.
